happier, if they had sustainable, livable economies with universal single-payer
healthcare (which costs less due to preventive medicine),
higher
minimum wages (which lessens boom/bust cycles), and
graduated taxation and lower overall taxes
(recycles wealth without over-taxation).

withdrawing to a few big
bases in Kurdistan and Kuwait where U.S. protection is welcome.
This will also protect the world's oil supplies, and lower tensions
