Creating and posting flyers. [TopLink]

You can post flyers, posters, handbills, and banners in the MMM image galleries, or as attachments to posts in MMM threads at these forums:
http://www.cannabisculture.com/forums/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=wwwactive and

People can use them by downloading them, adapting them, printing them out, and photocopying them. Use scissors to cut out the incorrect city and event info. Then make one copy of it. On that copy use a thin black marker, or a black pen, to write in your city's MMM event date, time, location, and contact info.

The corrected flyer can then be photocopied in bulk. Copy on cheap plain white photocopy paper, or on cheap pastel-colored photocopy paper for greater effect. Colored paper looks great even if only black text and graphics is used on it by the photocopy machine. 100 or 200 copies is good for posting around town.

The last week or two before an MMM event is probably the most important time to keep MMM flyers up around town and campus. Bulletin boards at colleges are great places. As are the usual telephone poles around town. :)

Look for telephone poles already being used so as not to tick off the authorities too much. If you get stopped by the police, act ignorant, and say that you thought it was legal since there were so many flyers already posted on the telephone pole. This worked for me once. :) And don't cover up other event flyers that are still current.

Some of your flyers will get torn down, so it is good to repost some more the last week before the MMM.

A staple gun is great for telephone poles. Tacks, or a plain stapler opened up, are great for bulletin boards.

Email addresses on flyers. [TopLink]

If you don't already have an email address that you can to post on a flyer, I suggest adding a free Yahoo Mail email address. Yahoo Mail provides 100 megabytes of free email storage. Plus it is the one of the highest-rated free web-based email services. It also has free virus scanning of attachments. And you can use an alias with Yahoo Mail if you want more privacy.

Audio and video. [TopLink]

There are many videos linked on MMM report pages:
https://www.angelfire.com/rnb/y/mmmreports.htm and

Analog videotapes of cannabis events can be converted to digital video for streaming on the web, or for putting on CDs and DVDs. A video capture card on a computer can convert the analog video to digital video. Then you can post that digital video on the web, or have others post it on the web. Alternatively, you can have others convert the analog videotape to digital video. Check out these websites for email addresses you can use to request help:
http://crrh.org/hemptv/index2.html and
http://www.vienna2004.org/mmm and
http://www.pot-tv.net and

The above websites have previously requested MMM video in any form. So you may be able to mail or email them videotape, digital video clips, etc.. They can put video clips and streaming video on the web, or on CDs and DVDs.

I think I have put together a good little software package to stream video and images via www.hempevolution.org . Please let me know if there is anything I omitted.

Kindly test the software out on your machine and let me know if it was too difficult to get working. [I was able to get it to work despite dealing with a massive virus infection.]

Anyhow, I am going to write some instructions and could use some feedback from folks who are newbies. [You know who you are, so don't be shy.]

Please note that the software is FREE for use, but unregistered will appear in webcast window, but it doesn't bother me if it doesn't bother you. If anybody wants to license the software, feel free and contact me ASAP.

Hello dear Legalizers from all over the World,

most of you won't know me, and i want to apologize to use dana's
adress list. But i think its the right thing. I am Martin, and i do some
stuff in the hemp museum berlin ( http://www.hanfmuseum.de/ ). Some of
you will know the Hanf Parade which happens yearly in Berlin, this
organisation is located here as well. I do the "computer stuff" here.

What i want to ask you is if you can send me audio-visual material from
your Legalize Action, MMM, discussion session and all this?

I have the possibility to digitalize tapes if you do not have it in
digital. I can send it digitalized back to you.

All i want this is for my projects:

First, audio content will be used in my internet radio. It is heavily
drug related, but it is still beta. You can check it out at
http://r.hanfplantage.de/ .

Second, i think nearly everyone of you who organise a MMM will have recordings
from it. The video content will be cutted by me to make a worldwide MMM

Further details can be mailed with me, otherwise if someone of you do
have an instant messenger like ICQ or jabber ( http://www.jabber.org/
) you can contact me instantly:

jabber: tribble"at"jabber.ccc.de
icq: 13700190
msn/yahoo/aim: foobar2342"at"hotmail.com

Since i want to put the audio/video content on the net, be sure that this
can be done - pictures are cool too, but have copyrights sometimes.
For big video data on the net i'm on the search for "free traffic", but
if you do have a dsl connection, you can help too.
